Livin’ Like Locals…

It’s easy to take for granted all the scenes we see every day in New Orleans.  If not for getting volunteered to work a trade show this weekend… we would never have done such a “touristy” thing as jump on the Creole Queen for a sunset dinner cruise.

Then again, when duty calls, someone has to do it.

This was truly fun.  We boarded at the Riverside Hilton, cruised for about three hours, enjoyed a relaxing dinner, then watched as the city disappeared behind us in the sunset.

On the way back, we got pictures of the post card-ready full moon over the Greater New Orleans bridge.

Once in a while, it’s fun to just enjoy an evening of slow motion and good conversation on the river – a feature of our city we take so for granted we forget it’s here!
